Macarons are pretty cookies, they have so many vibrant colors and various fillings. I’ve been wanting to making this sweets for so long. I’m quite surprised about how simple the ingredients, its just consists of powdered almond, powdered sugar, egg whites, granulated sugars, and some food coloring if you want to. I was afraid at first because despite its beautiful appearance, this cookies have some bad reputations. I’ve heard rumours going on about how difficult the technique of making macarons to be mastered.
But I’ve made up my mind, “I want to make pink macarons with ganache filling!”
Well this was my first attempt at making macarons or should I say macawrongs, since it was a failure. As you can see not all the macarons developed the “feet”, but they tasted good though. The macarons still had the texture, crunchy on the outside and a bit chewy on the inside, of course the ganache filling really helped.
Making macarons require a lot of patience because this cookie is really demanding. I’m not going to give up making macarons, because this pretty cookies really worth the trouble.
